2IGTV Episode 10

Well this is the last episode for this year and I'm sure everyone will be impressed. I am. While I had a cool idea to turn the show into a fun and interesting awards show, Mark shot that down with anti-aircraft fire so I'll present those in the form of a post here later.
In the meantime you can hear some of my best-of-2005 choices for the year. Also in this episode you hear about King Kong, why Mike Bay has room for us at any party he throws, that we could have a Nick Cage free year, the Italian Job sequel and much more.

What happened to the Colonels you were going to put in there?

I put that on ice as 2005 awards would be daft to do in '06. I'll do it later I promise.

The Colonels were pretty much what I expected he was doing too until he sent me his awards list. I then properly reread his prior emails, realised he wanted to do some suck ass awards show instead and took out my Executive Producer's scissors.

Having seen one too many awards shows myself I think you have a point, but in this case I do think that it would have been intresting to indulge the Colonel in his awards. How many awards shows do you get where one of the presenters thinks most of the choices are shit and can voice them? How many awards shows are there where one of the categories is "Loudest Explosions in a Motion Picture"? (That was one of the categories wasn't it Colonel?)

Seeing as my suggestion was "greatest movie/TV Colonels" and "which of them would you have liked to serve under", I think more than one of us would have liked to heard the Colonels 'thoughts'

I think that in order to understand why Mark had to cut such a good idea that he wants to reach the wider masses and not just the current core audience. Don't worry, I'll have regular top 10 lists on air in the future...

Let me assure you that I'm not worried about reaching a "wider audience", if I wanted to reach a "wider audience" we sure as shit wouldn't be doing the crap we're doing now.

I want to create something I'd listen to, that's my only objective. Sometimes I think we succeed at that sometimes I don't. To be honest I can't even be sure when we're funny and when we're not.

Personally I'm shocked that anyone at all listens to us at all as we're niche by design.
