Briscoe on DVD

It was October when I published this in which I exclusively* revealed that Bruce Campbell and the producers of Briscoe County Jr. had started nagging Warner to release the series on DVD.
Well it just goes to show that nagging someone for something constantly for several months will pay off as I'm pleased to reveal details of The Adventures Of Briscoe County Jr on DVD.

Warner Home Video at long last will release The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.: The Complete Series on DVD. The eight-disc DVD collector's set will feature all 27 episodes of the series, along with a host of extras on the eighth disc including: A Reading From the Book of Bruce, The History of Brisco County - a "making of" documentary featuring star Bruce Campbell, cast and crew, Tools of the Trade - an interactive map that launches into min-featurettes about the gadgets and props used in the show and A Brisco County Writer's Room - a roundtable/ reunion discussion with show creators, writers and producers.

The Region 1 edition will be available for $99.99 (or cheaper online) from July 18th.

*May not actually have been an exclusive.

FOX execs yet again proving they know sweet fuck all about TV gave us seven shitty seasons of the X-Files but shitcanned Briscoe after one.

Their reason? It wasn't getting the same ratings as the X-Files.

Classic.
