Future religious artefact to be released on DVD
Star Wars: Episode III—Revenge of the Sith will debut on DVD Nov. 1 as two-disc set with a host of features, including a featurette titled Within a Minute. The newly produced feature offers insight into the complexity of creating a single 49-second sequence of Episode III, showcasing the amount of work that goes into one short sequence. The featurette was created from more than 600 hours of material gathered throughout the process of making Episode III and is hosted by producer Rick McCallum.
As usual there'll bedeleted scenes including the arrival of a certain diminutive Jedi Master to the swamp planet of Dagobah.
George Lucas and members of the movie's crew provide another insightful commentry and new featurettes include The Chosen One and It's All for Real that look at Anakin Skywalker's transformation into Darth Vader and the creation of the stunts in the climactic lightsaber duel between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
To be honest I was sort of hoping for some class of admission from Lucas in regard to him being a god and that he's pleased that he has so many followers to his religion, but that seems not to be forthcoming. Unfortunatly Lucas has always played down himself as a deity like Ben Sisko distanced himself from his role as the Emissary. Pity. Mabe after the TV show...
Anyway I've had mine on order for the past two months, have you?

Not got it on order - yet - but it will be magnificent, and take a proud place in my collection :)
I'd advise you to order it. Apparently Lucasfilm are going to limit the supply of the first production run. Not all retailers will be able to receive the amount of the DVDs they've asked for. YOu have been warned!
how long until the second production run? I think I smell arbitrage possibilities here!
When future civilisations eventually dig past the radioactive layer that pinpoints our departure and find the dvd, will Princess lea give them boners too?
I don't know how long between production runs but I'm not taking any chances. Arbitrage and Star Wars merchandise have always gone hand-in-hand. I should know I regulary engade in both sides.
L.Cpl.D.Matrix! If they find a DVD of Star Wars Epidode IV, V or VI it might, but not a DVD of Episode III because in that Leia's only newborn baby. So if THAT gives you a boner, I want your resignation on my desk by 05:00 tomorrow morning.
I prefer padme myself, especially in the Geonosis outfit! mmm
But no, after the "recovery" of said artifact, I can see a whole new generation basking in the wonder of the Sith
lol, that's what I get for not paying due attention to the time line!
Just wait 'till the folks at the Department of Temporal Mechanics get wind of this!
My resignation will of course be forwarded to you pending the outcome of any investigation that may arise.
PS.
There's a 5am?
I always had a thing for that Twi Lek Jedi, Tasty Jedi!, terrible waste of top totty. I blame the Military.
DEAR GAWD!, SHAAK TI!, NOOOOOOOOO!

Ah, the Twi'lek - Aayle Secura ... I believe the good Colonel has her 'action figure'. Such a waste of a talented Jedi General
I'm forced to agree. Anyone who doesn't have a thing for Aayla might as well be dead from the waist down.
I do indeed have an Aayla Secura action figure, two in fact, one in an action pose from the Attack of the Clones collection during the Battle of Geonosis and another "fully articulated" version from Revenge Of The Sith.
bet you a fiver at least one of the Colonels Aayala figures is laying the floor, surrounded by clone troopers, ready to commit ... um... atrocities upon the poor general
No, I did have a scene like that set up, but now I'll wait until the Commander Bly action figure is released so I'll be able to properly recreate the scene on the the exotic fungus planet of Felucia, where he recieves secret Order 66 and he and his troops suddenly turn on Secura and the rest of the Jedi.
