Seven years?

I guess that if this was my first post back then today is a seventh Birthday of sorts for Whopper's Bunker

I'm reliably informed by many people, people who've either had or read blogs regularly that seven years is a long time to maintain one when looking at average blog lifespans. While I can't obviously say I post every day or even with the frequency that I used to, I guarantee that while it may be slow, there is no intention of wrapping things up on my part.

Thank you to all those who have contributed ideas for content and read and commented this year. More to come.

congrats colonel - one query - why no mention of Doctor Who on your Blog?

I've never actually watched Doctor Who, in any incarnation. So if I was to actually "start watching" Doctor Who I would actually have to start at the first episode in 1963.

I am aware of the argument that practically no onewatching Dr. Who today has been watching since 1963 and most people don't consider anything before Eccleston's Doctor to be relevant to the modern incarnations but...

...I am not 'most people'.

I wish Docror Who all the best, I encourage any kind of science fiction on Television in any form but I have no time for it personally.

Thanks for answer, I actually became a fan when UK Gold were running it on a sunday morning back in the 90's and was hooked since then........several eps have been lost by the beeb over time so (and I might be wrong) I think its near on impossible to have seen it all, and some of the late 80's one are pretty ropey hence cancelation
