Listen To The Children

... it's their country too.

I'm a little jealous of this kid. He's got more badges than I did at his age.

Just think, this kid could grow up to one day to take pot shots at a future president.

I really do hate it when people shamelessly use kids to get sympathy for a cause... People pay no attention to nor give any respect to those of us who work with them until they wish to use the little darlings in their latest campaign for something. The YouTube comments are scathing!

Colonel, where is your "McCain for President!" video?

@ Civvy: Well in the case of the current election, he'll only need to to that if the president is a woman or "a bit dark".

@ Constance: It's as if you don't believe that he's not saying what he is of his own volition? Just because you don't ascribe to his opinion doesn't mean it's not valid. Not everyone his age just wants a hug, some desire decisive leadership and he's old enough and clever enough to throw his support in the direction of the only candidate capable of providing that.

Clearly he's more impressed by Grandpa and his heroic black and white "G.I. Joe" shots than he is with Grandma's... what has she got? She doesn't strike me as the kind of a person who would bake you any cookies or bring you a drink of water or read you a story... I think that Mr. Obama is more likely to do that. And he looks more likely to give you a hug to boot.

I'm sure that the words were of his own volition, but it's always like that when you've been brainwashed...

BAKE COOKIES?????? GIVE HUGS?????? This is the POTUS, the CinC!!! Showing such weakness like that would be a signal for N.Korea, Iran and any two-bit terrorist group that the coast was clear and it was open season! Good God woman- if I though that would happen: I'D SHOOT HIM MYSELF!!!!

You heard it here first, folks, the Lt.Col promising to betray his oath of duty to the Corp, if ever his Commander in Chief doesn't behave in a manner he finds acceptable.

Oh, Colonel. There are some days, some sweet, sweet days, where things go better than you could have ever planned. I mean, how is it that I could have arranged for anyone, let alone Republican presidential candidate John McCain, to be a guest on "The View" and embrace those fine examples of womanhood? The answer is: I couldn't. Sometimes the cosmic goalkeeper lets the visiting team score one.

I was going to say that it takes a real man confident in his masculinity to put on an apron, whip up a batch of Nestle Toll House, and still have a little something left over. Why can't Obama be that guy? It's starting to look as though McCain is at least half that guy!

Obama gets it - he knows doesn't have to hold back the love or the cookies. He's a badass. He's got nuclear power and command of the world's largest armed force.

Well, not yet. But he will.

Constance, Don't the really hard core, right wing, Republicans view McCain as a liberal?

I do not know, civilian overseer. I try very hard not to gaze into the souls of hard core, right wing Republicans. I am much too sensitive and marshmallowy a girl for that. I'd be in tears for days.
