Tactical Recovery of Aircraft Personnel mission successful

A U.S. Air Force F-15E Eagle based in RAF Lakenheath, England, which was flying out of Aviano Air Base, Italy in support of the no-fly-zone, crash landed in Libya in the early hours of the morning after suffering engine failure.

The pilot and weapons officer were separated when they ejected at 23:33 local time and parachuted to safety near the rebel stronghold of Benghazi. Rebels rescued the weapons officer from a field of sheep but a U.S. Marine squadron with Ch-53Es, AV-8B Harriers with two V-22B Ospreys rescued the pilot closer to the crash site.

The Daily Mail has reported however that the Marines opened fire on the Libyan civilians who were on their way to assist the pilot.

Pentagon officials declined to comment Tuesday afternoon.

Colonel, What did I say about leaving witnesses?, Well, what do you have to say for yourself?

Dammit Colonel they're on our side!

Hey civvy you don't have to tell me about it...I Still can hear the cackling of the Colonel as he gunned down my men ....we'd cleared out the building just like he ordered without a single casualty ....and then...then they just started to drop...all the time the colonel laughing saying "My God what a magnificent gun this is!"..is that what happened here Colonel....is it?

Mr.V, You'll get no sympathy from me, Sir, you ignored the first rule of going into combat with the Colonel, "Never, ever turn your back on the Colonel", honestly that's the very first thing that they teach at Westpoint nowadays.

Your negligence cost your men their lives.

P.S.,I cannot personally comment on the magnificence or otherwise of the Colonel's weapon. ;)

Just one other thing Colonel, For fuck sake stop drawing attention to that god awful Osprey.

We didn't turn our backs ...I shouted clear and signaled him ...AND THEN HE OPENED FIRE!(weeps uncontrollably for his murdered men) Why do you think they teach that rule at Westpoint...some of us will never forget Colonel....NEVER!

Civilian Overseer said...

Damn Colonel, that's cold, even for you.

There There Mr.V, here why don't you try this training bra, since you're such a little girl. SMACK!!Pull yourself together man!, Don't weep for your men, avenge their deaths.

I'm surprised by none of this. Civilians, his own men, the enemy -they are all the same when they are in front of the Colonel's weapons.

This is a symptom of a greater problem. Servicemenn detached from any form of reality. Have you seen the new Rolling Stone pictures? This kind of thing tarnishes the flag.

Guns, The Colonel himself is a stain on the flag but he is a necessary stain.

For you see the Colonel has fought monsters so long that he has finally become one himself.

Be grateful that the Colonel has sacrificed his humanity to keep you safe from things that go bump in the night and weep for him as there is far worse than he out there...
