The Iron Gauntlet

Thanks to my old college buddy Declan who sent me a link to this picture of Robert Tony Stark Downey Jnr. with a first look at Iron Man's armoured gauntlet.

    Looks pretty go, I like the hint of the unibeam projector under his vest.

    I don't think that's supposed to be the unibeam, that's the "implant" that's keeping his heart beating. A better picture of it glowing is here. Whay it's in the middle of his chest instead of a pacemaker position will probably be explained in the accompanying Iron Man technical manual :)
