The "New" Enterprise

We had been waiting for some time but, I can now unveil JJ Abram's re-imagining of the USS Enterprise. To quote a friend of mine: "Groovy!"

While JJ admits he was never a fan of the original Star Trek series, he does have on clear Star Trek cherry-popping moment: the big reveal of the Enterprise during Star Trek: The Motion Picture. "It was the first time I had ever seen that level of attention, that love of detail, given to the tangible, practical reality of the ship." Abrams wanted to take the original Constitution Class of TOS and fuse it to the movie-era refit into a new but still familiar Enterprise. "If you're going to do Star Trek there are many things you cannot change. So if you're going to do the Enterprise, it better look like the Enterprise, because otherwise, what are you doing?"

Oh Dear sweet Jeebus what is that, the designer obvously attended the most elite of design schools, (y'know the kinda schools where they let the "Special" kids use Crayons!) This smacks of typical JJ Abrams Crap ( But are you really surprised from the man who gave us lost) Sadly I suspect the design of this "Enterprise" is representative of the film to come full of sound and fury but signifying nothing.

Typical of someone who hates JJ to trash the new Star Trek before it's even been seen. His series and movies have made more money than most and has millions of fans wordwide.
Star Trek was broken, it deserves to be fixed. Now rejuvinated with new designs and a new cast it's time for the future to begin anew. Dozens of Major players in hollywood have marveled at what they've seen so far. We'll let history decide who's right yes?

I don't hate JJ , I admire the fact he's been payed a lot of money to come up with ideas for shows , the problem is , he never finishes them , Alias , Lost and now Fringe all smack of utter bollix, they are well written and well acted but when you look at them again you realise how nonsensical the plots are ( and by the way having seen some of the spoilers which have been discussed on other sites it looks like Trek is suffering from the same problem) I will hold my fire until I see it but consider this , those Major Players ( If you can call Harry Knowles and Kevin Smith Players?!?!?) also marvelled over Abrams Idea for Cloverfield and why don't you ask the Colonel for his opinion on that "Masterpiece"?

"Set a course . . . for riveting suspense!"

Notice how Quinto as Spock looks like Sheldon from "The Big Bang Theory"?

And I'd just like to take this opportunity to remind you all that Zachary Quinto is from Pittsburgh. (and my verification word is "citio." that's a weird coincidence!)
