Well, well, well. Look who has to scrape the bottom of the barrel for insightful political commentary!

You really had to "reach" for that one, didn't you? I mean, what with Palin being found to have abused the powers of her office, and your man McCain having to actually chastise the crowds who are shouting horrible things whenever he mentions Obama's name.

And now that the Clintons are actively stumping for Obama... well, let's just hope that he doesn't see this post until well after you get your opportunity to say "Thank you for my Medal Of Honor President Obama"

Lt.Col, Thats just not cricket.

The Clintons are as sincere in their campaigning for Obama as I would be for the construction of a Cromwell monument.

I love all these liberals sidling up to the trough for the government candy that an Obama regime will bring. That's great and all, if we have an economy larger than, say, Ecuador, after it's all said and done. Look what happened since the Dems seized Congress with their trademark class-baiting and railing on "the rich." I wouldn't be so concerned about it except, under "Obamanomics," I'm part of the "rich." And no, I don't make more then 250k a year. That "threshold" is a myth of a lie of a falsehood. I swear, if you actually take a look at the Obama plan, it would make more sense if he came out and said it was based on the benevolence of faerie magic. NOTE: I spelled "faerie" that way will think I'm talking about the gays.

If Patriotism is "the virtue of the vicious," then slap the muzzle on me. I'll chew right through the sumbitch! Grrr!

And hey, whoever accused me of "namecalling" in an earlier response for referring to people from Europe as "Europeans," you can just stick that in your pipe and smoke it! God bless America! Hallelujah! Where's the Tylenol . . .

Note: the above should have read "I spelled "Faerie" that way so people WON'T think I'm talking about the gays." Obama makes me ANGRY, and when I'm angry, after I'm done smashing things, I can't type straight. Of couse, I DO gain the proportional speed and strength of a tree-sloth, but that's neither here nor there . . .

"Bruce angry, Bruce smash!", eh? :)
Believe me - most anyone I've ever worked with will verify I have no love of taxes, am strongly in favor of small goverment that just, well, lets us individuals get on with it.
Bet I refute claims of my being European. English, yes, I might have stretched to British before Labour smeared that label with their filth.
You know, I don't think you're the only one who gets angry?!

Bruce I believe the term you used was "Europran" not "European", I can understand that you may have been a little ham fisted with the keyboard rather than deliberately insulting. Apology accepted. You are forgiven, don't do it again.

Incidentally, I just gave you my view on name-calling, you where never accused of anything. That was your own conscience assigning guilt. Young man, how do you ever hope to succeed as a lawyer if you don't argue semantics?

Seriously, if politics gets you this riled up, why don't you take that passion and run for public office and do something about it?

Alternatively if you hate paying tax that much, why not get a really good accountant to perform some Tax Return Magic for you. My guy is an absolute crook. ;)

Already ran for public office. A bold but noble failure. Maybe it was my campaign slogan: "Vote Russell: If You Were Running For Supervisor, He'd Vote For you."

Bruce, I would have gone with,

Vote Bruce or else.

Constance We've never met but I don't think you'd like whats going on over here when it comes to Palin, the Attitude of the Liberal press here in Ireland is quite..Disgraceful ...it is like Feminism never happened , on RTE last week on the main evening radio news of( that's the national broadcaster who is supposed to be unbiased!)Joe O Connor (Sineads brother) left out a tirade of abuse in a poem about Palin in which her ability to lead because she's a woman was called into question..Hell even their Anchors ( Women) have questioned her ability to lead because of her sex ( Way to stand up for the sisterhood girls!)
During McCains speech at the Republican Convention , a so called online rte journalist posted not a report on the speech but an opinion piece comparing McCains experience in Vietnam to Guantanomo bay and basically saying McCain didn't know what suffering was ..it was only pulled down after complaints from the Public and the U.S Embassy
And for fairness turn to the Tubridy show only this morning (Available online) where a left wing comedian was talking about the Bias with some of the Material that was bandied about Palin but would never be said about Obama and to prove a joke he then told a Joke about Obama ( A tacky one about shoes hanging on telephone poles outside the white house) and then he waited for the reaction , within two minutes the Switchboard was jammed with the same people who mock Palin with stunningly idiotic sexism were screaming "To take the Racist off the air!"
The colonel at least has a sense a humour in a world gone mad with political correctness
"I'm a Republican in the Roman sense of the word!"

@ Constance: How in the name of Lucas did you know that I was nominated for the MOH!!?? I didn't find out myself until last Friday! And as it is for a classified op there's been no press release. Spill it sista!

@ Civvy: I know, it's awful.

Something else awful is: "The Only difference between OBAMA and OSAMA is BS." But it's true.

Look you heard me! I tried to stop him, I told him not to raise his arm like that especially while standing next to a portrait of Hitler. And what's with him standing out in the rain? Is he trying to experience the life of the Irish or something?

@ V: I have a good example somewhere here of an article written by one such Irish "journalist" praising the magnificence of the candidacy of Billary Clinton (before Obama handed her her ass in the Democratic battle) simply because of her lack of a penis would allow her to think with her head instead.

The same woman wrote a scathing attack on Palin asking why someone with the experience of McCain has the stupidity to bring aboard "a mother who can't even control her own children". She referenced Palin's lack of powers of observation by allowing her daughter to get pregnant - but I don't recall a mention of Billary's obliviousness to Ms. Lewinski.

I could read more good things about Palin and McCain right now in the New York Times or on MSNBC's site - bastions of the misguided liberal agenda than I'd read in any Irish Newspaper or on RTE. It makes me puke.

Lets do an experiment: The next time Joe Duffy or Jerry Ryan or someone talks about the election- let you ring him up and say "Sarah Palin deserved to birth a retarded whelp" and I'll ring up after you and say "Obama can't be president - it's called The White House for a reason". Then we'll see if you or I get more negative comments.

€35,000 says it's me...

Oh, Creedon. I couldn't possibly just tell you how I discovered the information. I may, however, negotiate for its release.

Anonymous said...

Lt.Col Why €35,000?, thats a pretty exact figure.

Anonymous said...

Civvy, this is also the figure that he quoted as the bounty for a certain... um... Let's just say "video"... on the forums. Which you are never on, which I find disappointing. I too demand to know: why?

Overseer:
Maybe it's an application of rule #7? You know, always be specific when you lie?

Anonymous said...

Connie, when one strives on a daily basis to make the world a better place for everyone's children there is very little time for frequenting forums. It's a heavy price but one I gladly pay.

Sithy, Shush!, you are forbidden to reveal the secrets of the order to non Sith or does this mean that the Lt.Col is your Master?

Anonymous said...

But Civvy, I strive at least 5 days out of 7 "to make the world a better place for everyone's children."

Anonymous said...

Connie, being pretentious for only 5 out of 7 days of the week just doesn't cut it in politics. Step up your game, Part Timer! ;)
