The Colonel In Crisis: The Aftermath

The officer formerly known as Captain Rabb (tee hee) has kindly posted the entire transcript of my recent court-martial. So now you can see for yourselves the wonderful US Military justice system at work.

Thanks to all who supported me during the stressful and emotional time during the trial- you will not be forgotten. And to all those who did not support me and even aided the good Captain: You certainly won't be forgotten either, mark my words.

As for me- unfortunately my previous SOCOM assignment was set by statute as an O-6 billet, and therefore I had to relinquish that to a full colonel. However I've a new billet with SOCEUR that I can't tell anyone here about- but I'm okay with it. The UN Security Council are less strict thankfully and have asked that I also remain as Special Operations Director of UNETIDA which means I still have access to an impressive array of modern weapons, vehicles and technology funded by all the UN member states so we can protect them from the threats posed by aliens.

What a minute!, we've all seen Fight Club, and by his own confession the Lt.Col is a nuttter and self harm is often a sign of being a Nutter. If you put all these suppositions and circimstantal evidence together its quite easy to see that "Capain Rabb" and the Lt.Col are one and the same person!

I think i speak for every non-military person when i say... HUH????

Excellent Idea, Pints, we'll ban anoynmous posts and bring in electronic tagging of all for undesirables, starting with you!

Overseer: Rabb is, as I noted on his blog, an incompetent Assclown™.
The machinegun reference was to Quake 2, and the Shock Rifle to UT2004.

He should also have argued for admission of the Jedi evidence, given "unit, corps, god, country" seeing as the Colonel mentioned the cost of his training to his country.

Meh.

Civilian Overseer: If you put all these suppositions and circumstantal evidence together it could be argued that you and I are the same person. Someone like you with a complete disregard of military authority who disagrees with almost every point of view I have? It's almost too easy.

as for the anonymous post: it has been deleted as it obviously doesn't belong here. I'd hate to have to turn "comment moderation" on as it's annoying to implement but if that shit continues I'll have to in order to edit comments.

Sith: Although I knew full well you were talking about Quake 2, I knew Rabb would have assumed that it was UT as you mentioned it and I gave him only UT screenshots to examine. If he did cop it though, I had a similar argument prepared that would easily have argued that as a Quake "expert" you wouldn't have referred to the Quake "Chaingun" as a "Minigun" in testimony. To be honest I won the case the second you declined to appear in person- thank you Sith "old friend" :)

Strangley enough, I can see how that would work, I would be the Tyler Durham character, so impossibly cool, that I cause the minds of lesser beings like yourself, Lt.Col, to split in two and run a poor imitation of me for half the time, in order to make your miserable existance bearable.

All too easy. ;)

Just so we're clear mate; you're my fake personality, but I'm really a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marines and responsible for defending the earth from alien attack- and that responsibility is part of a miserable existence?

Oh how I wish I really could be a figment of the Colonel's imagination. At least then I wouldn't have to live with the humiliating defeat at his hands.

Yes, I've wondered that too, why do you choose to continue to live after suffering such a humiliating defeat at hands of the Lt.Col?
